Additional entry and exit ramps at Dapto on the cards for opposition

NSW Labor is promising to deliver more on and off ramps on the M1 at Dapto, if elected later this month.

The commitment is worth $10 million.

It's part of the oppositions $1.1 billion election promise to upgrade roads across the state.

The Member for Shellharbour, Anna Watson has been advocating for the project for years and created a petition for the on-off ramps in July last year with over 7000 signatures.

Ms Watson says it means locals will no longer have to go through six sets of traffic lights just to get in and out of Dapto.

Today's announcement comes on top of Labor's existing $20M commitment to the fund the Tripoli way Bypass in Albion Park.
