Lake Illawarra Police are appealing for public information after a boy was assaulted and robbed in Albion Park on Tuesday.
Police have been told a 12-year-old boy was walking along Tongarra Road, when four people got out of an SUV and approached him.
The boy was allegedly threatened with a knife - and his laptop, headphones, Nike shoes, necklace and bracelet were taken, before he was allegedly punched to the ground and kicked.
The group then fled in the black Toyota SUV with the four people described as men with their faces covered.
Anyone with information is urged to contact police.
